The Netherlands stunned South Africa once again but this time in the ICC ODI World Cup. We saw it in the 2022 ICC T20 World and we have witnessed it again. The Netherlands is just a nightmare for South Africa. The Netherlands batted first and posted a huge total of 246 for the loss of 8 wickets to chase in 43 overs.

The match was affected by rain initially so reduced to 43 overs a side. South Africa started brilliantly and the Netherlands were going nowhere in the first half of the match. Once they were 50 for 4 in almost 15 overs. After that, a few chipped in and added some partnerships. The Netherlands lost their 7th wicket when the score was 140 on the board.
But Roelof van der Merwe’s cameo of 29 from 19 balls gave the Netherlands a chance to put a substantial target on the board. He added and his skipper added 64 runs in just 36 balls. He departed at 204 on the board.
Dutt also added some quick runs to make the total very big for the South Africans. He made for 9 balls with 3 maximums. The 41-run partnership in 19 balls helped the Netherlands to set a huge total of 245 in 43 overs.
All the bowlers from the Netherlands bowled brilliantly. Everyone got wickets except for Aryan Dutt. A complete team performance from the Netherlands. Bowling, batting, and fielding were exceptional. The day belonged to the Netherlands. They deserve this win.
