Pakistan are struggling to find their form in the ICC CWC23 after losing the last four games against Australia, India, South Africa and Afghanistan. The game against SA was rather easy to win but losing those two points may dent Pakistan as the tournament progresses. Bangladesh on the other hand are in their struggling phase too with only one win out of 6 games
Pakistan need some changes in their bowling lineup. Abrar Ahmad should play if Pakistan wants to fancy their chances against Bangla Tigers of the ICC World Cup 2023. Pakistan’s spin bowling lineup has performed below par so far till now. The spinners are at No.9 on the table in terms of average. So, the enclosure of Abrar Ahmad is important for Pakistan now as Shadab and Nawaz are totally off-colour in this mega CWC2023.
On the other hand, Bangladesh are a settled team now after Mohmadullah’s brilliant form. Despite their good form BAN are still on the 9th spot just above ENG. The only issue that Pakistan can bank on is their bowling in the last part of an inning.
So, Playing XI in Pakistan vs BAN is going to be very crucial for both teams. Pakistan will look for more changes to make the right combination. This is their do-or-die game. If they win it they stay alive in the ICC Men’s CWC India but in case of loss, there will be no way back to make a comeback in the tournament.
