Pakistan Favour Two Locations in India for World Cup Games

Pakistan favour two locations in India for World Cup games. As the ICC Cricket World Cup in india is being prepared, the Pakistan Cricket team has stated its preference for locations. According to rumors, Pakistan has approved of two locations where they would like to host their World Cup matches and feel “secured”.

The locations rather than two primary hubs, Delhi and Mumbai are Kolkata and Chenaai, according to ICC insiders. Senior members of the Pakistan Cricket board (PCB) are reportedly in frequent communication with the ICC according to a report by the news agency.

According to the sources Pakistan felt secure during their prior visits of india in the two aforementioned locations Kolkata and Chennai.

“Pakistan T20 World Cup match against India was played in Kolakata in 2016 and the players were pleased with level of protection. For Pakistan, Chennai will always be a special place. It’s also about feeling secure at particular locations,” the person continued.

The Cricket World Cup is expected to begin in india in six months, but the tournament’s fixture and schedule is still a secret as geopolitics muddle the lead up to the main event.

The final will be held in the Narendar modi stadium even though Ahmedabad has the biggest capacity, which would provide the ICC the best opportunity to generate the most money. As a result, the game between India and Pakistan can be played somewhere else between Chennai and Kolkata.

Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB management committee, said in a recent interview this week that Pakistani supporters do not want their team to play in India for the World Cup if India does not reciprocate by hosting the Asia Cup in Pakistan.

“I am aware that some people do not want us to visit India if India does not visit Pakistan. People expect us to be assertive and refuse to follow orders, “said Sethi.
