Pakistan Vs Newzealand Warm-up Match 01, Hyderabad Full Inning Score Update - NZ 

The 1st warm-up match of ICC WC 2023 was played between NZ and PAK with Babar Azam winning the toss and choosing to bat first with the aim of testing his men with the bat. Pakistan put a massive total of 345 on board thanks to Rizwan and Babar in the middle and Saud in the later stage of the game with their massive contributions. It’s 346 for NZ to win this warm-up encounter.

Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway started the chase for NZ.  Hassan Ali, who has been uder the radar for his inclusion in the Squad for WC 2023, sent back Davon Conway on his very first ball. Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra to score 65 for the loss of 1 wicket in theopening phase of the inning. 

Babar continued his spin attack to tacke the agression shown by both these batters. RR completed his fifty in just 41 balls whilst KW also smashed the half centurie in just 49 deliveries. He gor retired hurt at 54 off 50 to let other batter chase that target down.

Left-handed batter, Ravindra, played brilliantly, scored 97 off  72 with a strike 134+, fall pray to Agha Salman. Further, Tom Latham and Glenn Philips proved easy victim to Usama Mir.

Daryl Mitchell anchored the inning for NZ smartly supported by Mark Chapman. After scoring a 59 run cameo he was also off to the pavilion to give way to James Neesham for a finishing touch. At the end of the 2nd powerplay NZ had scored 294 at a run rate of 7.35 leaving 52 more at the required run rate 5.2 in the final 10. 

The pick of the performers in this middle phase of ICC WC 2023 Warm up match No 01 were Rachin Ravindra who smashed 97 off 72, Daryl Mithcell with his 59 off 57 and Usama Mir who bowled his full quota of 10 overs giving away 68 runs, dismissing 2 batters for setting the stage for other bowlers.

But it seemed that the game has gone out of the reach from Pakistani bowlers. James Neesham scored 33 of 21 in his quickfire cameo opening a way for Santner. The other left-hander Chapman scored his half century in just 37 balls and brought a comprehensive win for the team NZ. He was a standout performer with the bat and scored 65 of 41 with a strike rate of 158+.

Without Shaheen and Naseem Pakistan pace attack looked a piece of straw. They leaked runs every now and then.  NZ won the game by 5 wickets and sparing 38 balls.
