A massive win for Pakistan for after New Zealand posted a mammoth total on the board of 401 runs. At the halfway stage now would think that Pakistan could challenge this total but courtesy of Fakhar Zaman and the Skipper Babar Azam kept the tempo in this big chase after losing Abdullah early. Pakistan won by 21 runs by DLS Method after scoring 200 runs in 25.3 overs. The DLS par score at this stage was 179 runs. A good win for Pakistan to keep the tournament alive.

Fakhar Zaman was lethal for New Zealand and was dealing in sixes. He is the first Pakistan player who hit more than 10 sixes in a single innings.
