Predicted 15 Members Squad of India for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

The squad announced for Asia Cup is also predicted to be the squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. India’s team for the 50-over Asia Cup 2023 was announced by BCCI. Tilak Varma, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer joined the team once more. Prasidh Krishna also made a comeback following an injury hiatus. Asia Cup 2023 squad for India is given below:

In the group stages, India competes against Pakistan and Nepal. Sanju Samson will be travelling as a reserve while Ishan Kishan was selected as the second wicketkeeper. Yuzvendra Chahal was replaced by Kuldeep Yadav.

Ajit Agarkar, the chief selector, said that Rahul is still “carrying a niggle” and that Samson will go to Sri Lanka as a reserve player.

Yuzvendra Chahal, a leggie, has been cut, and Kuldeep Yadav has been selected in his place. On September 2, Pakistan will be India’s opponent in their Asia Cup opener. On September 4, Nepal will be their opponent. The top two teams in the group advance to the Super 4, where they will play three further games, and both games will be played in Pallekele.

Prior to starting their World Cup campaign, also against Australia, on October 8 in Chennai, India will play three ODIs at home against Australia following the Asia Cup.
