Local favorite Simona Quadarella has claimed the top spot in the 800-meter freestyle event at the prestigious Settecolli Trophy. The Roman swimmer delivered a commanding performance, touching the wall in an impressive 8 minutes and 21.03 seconds at the Foro Italico.
Quadarella’s victory put her ahead of her competitors, with Sarah Dumont securing second place and Antonietta Cesarano finishing third.
