Another century from the Sri Lankan Batter, Sadeera Samarawickrama with his maiden hundred against Pakistan. He played really well. Completed his 100 in just 82 balls with the help of 10 fours and 2 sixes with the strike rate 120+. He joined Kusal Medis when the score was 107. Sri Lanka was in a good position.
His innings were fluent and flawless. When he was batting it seemed that the pitch was doing nothing. He was hitting Pakistan bowlers everywhere. It was raining boundaries. There was no intent from the Pakistani bowlers. They got one wicket early on but after that, it was one-way traffic.
He made 108 runs with a flawless batting technique. Like Kusal Mendis he too played very bowler with brutal force. The strike rate was up to the mark. He went after Pakistan bowlers right from ball one. The platform was set and cashed on it.
His innings gave Sri Lanka a chance to put a huge total on the board. The batter after even though did not capitalize as was expected from them still they posted a huge total on the board of 344/9.
