South Africa's stunning 149-run victory over Bangladesh Got Them Closer to the Semi-Finals of the ICC World Cup 2023.

Another comprehensive victory for South Africa against Bangladesh in a crucial match of the ICC World Cup 2023. South Africa batted first and posted a massive total of 382 runs on the board which was looking out of reach of Bangladesh. And Bangladesh started what was expected from them. Like England the other day, Bangladesh batters threw their wickets chasing this mammoth total. There was no flow in their batting. Wickets were tumbling at regular intervals and they only managed to score 233.

Muhammadullah was the top scorer from Bangladesh who made 111 runs off 111 balls with the help of 11 fours and 4 sixes. No other Bangladesh batter batted freely. South African bowlers didn’t allow them to score freely. The openers were showing some resistance but once they got out there was no one to handle South African bowlers.
