The inclusion of Kane Williamson in the ODI World Cup 2023 Squad will be a major boost for the kiwis. Just one month remains until the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, also known as the Cricket World Cup. After a 12-year hiatus, the world’s largest cricket tournament returns to India. The cricketing extravaganza may have a lot to offer because cricket is practically a religion in India. Prior to the World Cup, every team is busy practising for the major competition and putting their best effort forward to win the greatest cricketing honour.

The fab 4, which also includes Joe Root, Steve Smith, and Virat Kohli, may include former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson in their World Cup squad for ODI matches. Williamson suffered a serious injury earlier this year while playing in IPL 2023. The defending champion Gujarat Titans were being represented by the former Kiwi captain.

Williamson was forced to withdraw from the Indian Premier League due to his sustained ACL injury, and his participation was highly unsure. Williamson went to England for a T20I series, but he did not participate. Williamson has reportedly returned to full health just in time for the World

Cup in India.

Kane has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to his recovery, according to New Zealand head coach Gary Stead, who also noted that he has a strong team of professionals working with him. He has tried everything possible to resume playing cricket at the highest level. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to choose him.

At the same time, he has maintained perspective regarding his recovery and has avoided trying to force or rush his way back too soon. It’s great that he wants to play cricket for New Zealand in the long run, as we’ve already stated. We want to give Kane as much time as possible to help him recover, as we have said throughout this process.
