A Good Powerplay for New Zealand vs South Africa in Match 32 ICC World Cup 2023

A good start for New Zealand in the first powerplay of the match in a must-win game against South Africa. New Zealand after winning the toss decided to bowl first and let South Africa set a total. New Zealand bowlers were on the spot right from the word go and at the end of the first powerplay South Africa only managed to score 43 for the loss of one wicket.

South Africa started slowly courtesy of a brilliant bowling attack from New Zealand. Henry and Bould bowled well at the start. The bowlers were allowed to free their hands in the first powerplay of the match.

Pakistan Qualification For the Semi-Finals of the ICC World Cup 2023 and NRR Margin

Bvuma played well for his 24 facing 28 balls with a healthy strike rate. He was looking fluent in his innings. The strike rate was over 85 with the help of 4 fours and a six. On the other hand, De Kock was not that fluent in his innings. He was not finding the ball in the middle of the bat.

For Pakistan, South Africa’s win is more important for the teams that are looking for their place in the final fours. But for this South Africa has to play its natural cricket. We hope it will be a good contest.
