Dutch club Ajax has identified a Real Madrid midfielder as a key transfer target for the summer. The player in question is Dani Ceballos.
Ceballos, who previously played for Arsenal, is widely expected to conclude his tenure at Real Madrid this summer. Due to persistent fitness issues and strong competition for midfield spots, the 29-year-old has only managed to start four La Liga matches throughout the current season.
With Real Madrid reportedly planning to strengthen their midfield for the next season, Ceballos is considered surplus to requirements. Despite his limited playing time, he remains a highly regarded player across Europe and is expected to attract significant interest from multiple clubs.
According to renowned football insider Fabrizio Romano, Ajax is among the clubs that have already initiated contact to discuss potential transfer proposals for Ceballos. The report states that Ajax, along with two other unnamed clubs, are keen on securing his services.
