Gautam Gambhir upset with Ahmedabad fans during IND vs PAK match. A controversial statement-maker and former cricket player Gautam Gambhir expressed his dissatisfaction to the Ahmedabad crowd prior to the India-Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match.

When Pakistan captain Babar Azam was scheduled to speak after the coin toss, the 132,000-seat Narendra Modi Stadium crowd began to jeer and boo him.

Star Sports pundit Gautam Gambhir thought the crowd’s actions were inappropriate. According to reports, the former cricket player advised supporters to treat international players with respect because they are visitors who are there to compete in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

He advised, “Support your team but remember that they are your guests don’t mistreat them.” He stated, “We have to keep in mind that they are the guests and are here to play in the World Cup.”

In a lopsided blockbuster encounter at a packed Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, India crushed Pakistan by seven wickets to preserve their perfect 50-over World Cup record against their bitter rivals.

Before the highly anticipated match of the tournament, the western Indian city was engulfed in a cricket fever. India took the lead early on, dismissing their opponents for 191 runs in just 43 overs.

A total of almost 300 looked to be within Pakistan’s grasp with Babar Azam (50) and Mohammad Rizwan (49) in the middle, but they crumbled in a heap and were unable to survive their entire 50 overs.

With a scorching 86 to lead the chase, India’s captain Rohit Sharma eventually swept home in 30.3 overs to preserve their perfect record against Pakistan throughout the tournament’s history.
