ICC World Cup 2023 Disappointed fans after India-Pakistan match tickets quickly sold out

ICC World Cup 2023: Disappointed fans after India-Pakistan match tickets quickly sold out. Cricket fans from all over the world are eagerly awaiting the start of the World Cup in India in less than a month. They can’t wait to see their favourite players in action. Many people are even looking to purchase tickets so they can attend live games in stadiums across the nation.

Unhappy fans

The pre-sale ticket windows that were opened on Tuesday for the India-Pakistan match on October 14 in Ahmedabad were closed within hours as tickets were sold out, leaving a large number of fans dissatisfied. The International Cricket Council’s ticket partner, Book My Show, is in charge of overseeing the ticket pre-sale period.

Fans, however, might not be discouraged and wait for the next opportunity, as the public’s growing demand might see another quick sale when the windows reopen on September 3. Additionally, only two tickets per person are permitted for matches involving India, as well as the semifinals and championship matches, according to the organisers’ policy.

It should be noted that every India-Pakistan match, whether played on the subcontinent or elsewhere, is marked by intense emotion from both nations, despite the fact that most often there aren’t many fans present.

Tickets are available for these games

Fans can purchase tickets for the hosts’ exhibition games against England and the Netherlands starting this evening at 8 p.m. in Guwahati and Thiruvanathapuram, respectively. Importantly, tickets for both important and warm-up games across ten venues had recently been sold out on the official website. Chennai, Delhi, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad are a few of these locations.

Following the conclusion of India and Pakistan’s Asia Cup match on Sunday, the selection committee is anticipated to reveal the World Cup roster.
