England has a great team. After India, they will be my second favourite country, but only narrowly. India is the favorite and has a very strong team while playing at home. The last few World Cups have all been like that. England in 2019, India again in 2023, Australia in 2011, and India in 2015, according to Morgan.
The World Cup will be held in India from October 5 to November 19. Each team will compete against the other nine teams in a round-robin style tournament. The top four teams advance to the semifinals.
Eoin Morgan emphazised that playing games around the nation is a challenge for the Jos Buttler-led team. According to Morgan, England possessed a potent squad with outstanding bowlers and batsmen.
“But Jos Buttler and his team have some fantastic batsmen and bowlers, and their talent will make a big difference come the business end of the tournament,” he continued.
“If you ask me to choose my top four, I’ll include Pakistan and Australia. It will be a true test because the games are spread out over the entire nation, and these four clubs have the most depth and variety.”
