Pakistan's outcome in the Cricket World Cup is predicted by Virender Sehwag

Pakistan’s outcome in the Cricket World Cup is predicted by Virender Sehwag. In an interview, Virender Sehwag discussed his thoughts on the competition. He predicted that England, the defending champions, Australia, the hosts India, and Pakistan will all advance to the semifinal round.

He remarked, “If I had to choose four teams, Australia, England, India, and Pakistan.” The semi-finalists are listed here. Australia and England will undoubtedly go since they excel at the type of cricket they play, which does not involve traditional strokes but rather only unorthodox ones.

Additionally, the two visiting teams who can play better cricket on the sub-continent are England and Australia.

It is important to note that Eoin Morgan, who guided England to its first-ever ICC Cricket World Cup victory in 2019, also predicted Pakistan would go to the final.

“When it comes to the tournament’s main event, I have no doubt that both England and India will be present. And the other teams I could see winning the trophy are Pakistan and Australia, two very, very strong teams and challengers in major tournaments,” he added.

It is important to note that Pakistan will face the Netherlands in Hyderabad on October 6 to open its ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign. On October 10, the Green Shirts will take on Sri Lanka at the same location.

On October 14, Pakistan will play host to and compete against India. On October 20, the team will play Australia in Bengaluru.

On October 23, Pakistan plays Afghanistan in Chennai, and on October 27, Pakistan plays South Africa in the same city. On October 31, Green Shirts play Bangladesh in Kolkata. On November 4, they will play New Zealand in Bengaluru.

Their final round-robin game is on November 12 in Kolkata against the reigning champions, England.
