Rohit Scored the Fastest World Cup 100 for India, Another Record Broken

Yet again, another 100 for Rohit  Sharma in the World Cup. He is on fire and is playing Afghanistan bowlers like club bowlers. No respect for anyone it is just raining boundaries and Afghan bowlers have no answers. Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Farooqi, and Naveen went for plenty. The hitman is cruising to his century. He looks in a hurry to chase down the target under 30 overs. But Rohit knows that this is a big tournament and run rate will come into play as the World Cup 2023 progresses.

Both of them added 94 runs in the first powerplay to rule out Afghanistan out of the match. At the end of the powerplay was playing on 78* and Kishan only was on 12*. Every over gave India a boundary. A big win here will not only be good for their confidence for the next match but also help the team achieve a good run rate and move top of the points table.

At the moment New Zealand is leading the points tally with 4 points and 1.9+ Net Run Rate. Pakistan is in the second spot with 4 points in 2 matches with 0.9+ Net Run Rate. India has a great chance to move to the top today.

This is a good practice session for Indian batters for the upcoming clash against Pakistan. India will take on Pakistan on 14th October in Ahmadabad. This batting performance will help both batters to go into that big clash with a huge confidence.

His hundred for 62 balls is a remarkable achievement for the Indian skipper. A statement from Rohit Sharma to other teams that he is still one of the best in the big tournaments.

Rhoit Sharma departed after a brillinat inning for 131 runs facing only 84 balls with the help of 16 Fours and 5 Sixes. India want to win it convencingly to enhance their run rate.
