Sourav Ganguly Makes A Big Claim Regarding Rohit Sharma’s “First And Last ODI Cricket World Cup As..” There are less than six weeks until the Cricket World Cup. The India vs. Pakistan game on Saturday is drawing all the attention to the Asia Cup 2023, which is taking centre stage before that. Since 2023, the Indian cricket team has not taken home an ICC trophy.

The responsibility for leading the team to the Cricket World Cup 2023 now rests with both current captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli.  Sourav Ganguly, a former India captain, identified Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill as the three crucial batsmen for India. He said that these three players must perform well for India to have a chance.

Virat is performing admirably. Along with Rohit Sharma, he has been India’s go-to man recently due to his impressive play and recent form. As captain, Rohit is competing in his first and final World Cup.

Here, I’m referring to the 50-over World Cup, which will occur in 4 years. Although this is a different format, he could play T-20. He also has a stellar track record in world cups. He was outstanding in the most recent World Cup, scoring 500 runs. Shubman Gill is the last player with the class to step up and secure victories for India. If India is to win the competition, each of them must stand up, Ganguly said on “Backstage.

All three are anticipated to participate in the India vs. Pakistan game at the 2023 Asia Cup. The continental competition is the teams’ final opportunity to test new strategies before the cricket World Cup. Rohit Sharma has yet to experience ODI World Cup success, whereas Virat Kohli was a member of the 2011 team that won the tournament.
