Will Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf miss Pakistan’s crucial match against England in Kolkata? The good news for Pakistani supporters is that bowler Haris Rauf will be available for selection on Saturday, November 11 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata for the crucial match against England. Haris Rauf complained of rib pain and was then sent for an MRI scan. Nevertheless, the reports did not indicate any serious issues, so the 30-year-old can be selected to play against England under Jos Buttler.

The 30-year-old pacer, who was born in Rawalpindi, hasn’t shown much in the current World Cup 2023. In eight games, he has taken 13 wickets at an average of 36.07 and an economy rate of 6.79. In the competition thus far, he has let in more than 80 runs twice.

Shadab Khan, a leg-spinner, will also be accessible. On October 27, in Chennai, Shadab sustained a concussion while fielding during Pakistan’s match against South Africa. He fielded at mid-on and landed awkwardly on his shoulder, knocking his head on the earth.

Usama Mir was substituted in as a fielder and bowler due to his inability to continue in the game after suffering a concussion. Pakistan’s next two games against Bangladesh and New Zealand will not include Shadab Khan.

It’s highly likely that Australia will be the third side to advance to the World Cup 2023 semifinals. Afghanistan, Pakistan, and New Zealand are vying for the final fourth place. Afghanistan has two more games to go, and a victory in each will give them 12 points.

Pakistan, in fifth position, and New Zealand, in fourth, are level at eight points. With one league encounter remaining, they would be unable to reach 12 points. The unfortunate thing for Afghanistan is that their next two games are against South Africa and Australia.
