The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also become embroiled in the debate since some sources claim that because of what they view as “Indian propaganda,” the institution was powerless to stop Zainab’s expulsion.

They contend that Zainab’s old tweets shouldn’t have caused her to be expelled from India because they had nothing to do with her job as a presenter. As of now, the ICC hasn’t made any official remarks about the situation.

Zainab Abbas is presently in Dubai. It is important to note that Indian attorney Vineet Jindal has filed a formal complaint against Zainab Abbas over a number of previous comments that have resurfaced on X, the platform that formerly housed Twitter. These tweets are allegedly filled with material that is “anti-Hindu” in nature.

Vineet Jindal asserted that Zainab Abbas’s now active X account, “ZAbbas Official,” which has since changed its username from “Zainablovesrk,” originally published these anti-Hindu tweets about nine years ago.

This circumstance is notable because Zainab Abbas was chosen by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to serve as the official presenter for the ICC Cricket World Cup.
