AS Roma has reportedly finalized the transfer of Ola Solbakken to Danish club Nordsjaelland, concluding his two-and-a-half-year period since joining from Bodo/Glimt.
Reports from Il Tempo and Bold.dk indicate that Solbakken has already traveled for his medical examination, with both clubs currently in the process of exchanging final documentation.
His move to the Stadio Olimpico in January 2023, where he arrived as a free agent, proved largely unsuccessful.
Solbakken`s Underwhelming Tenure at Roma

During his time with the Giallorossi, Solbakken managed only 15 competitive appearances, contributing a single goal and two assists.
He subsequently spent time on various loan spells, including with Olympiacos in Greece, Urawa Reds in Japan, and most recently, with Serie A side Empoli, who were relegated last season.
Despite being under contract with Roma until June 2027, this permanent transfer will still generate a profit for the club, given he originally joined as a free agent. The move is a permanent one, effectively removing him from Roma`s wage bill and squad.
This transfer marks a return to his native Norway for the international forward, who boasts 11 senior caps for his country and is versatile across the right wing, left wing, or a more central attacking position.
