Bernardo Silva, the latest acquisition for Real Madrid, recently crossed paths with a player he will soon share the pitch with in Spain’s capital: Rodrygo.
The Portuguese midfielder has officially committed his future to Real Madrid, signing a new contract at the Bernabéu after his departure from Manchester City.
The 31-year-old has since traveled to North America to represent Portugal in the 2026 World Cup.
Following his country’s recent match, Bernardo encountered his future club colleague, Rodrygo.
Rodrygo, currently sidelined with a significant injury, was present at the group stage match between Portugal and Colombia on Sunday morning.
After the game, the 25-year-old engaged in a conversation and posed for a photograph with Bernardo, foreshadowing their upcoming collaboration at the club level later this summer.
