ICC World Cup 2023 Cricket boards from numerous countries are dissatisfied with the BCCI

ICC World Cup 2023: Cricket boards from numerous countries are dissatisfied with the BCCI. According to sources, the cricket boards of numerous countries are dissatisfied with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the manner they are handling critical things for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

With the World Cup only two months away, the BCCI has neglected to reveal the final schedule or begin the process of selling tickets, which has irritated certain International Cricket Council (ICC) board members.

The scheduling of the World Cup is still the most critical administrative challenge. While BCCI secretary Jay Shah has already acknowledged that the schedule of some matches will be adjusted, primarily due to religious festivals in India, the exact dates of the rescheduled matches have yet to be issued by the BCCI, leaving some teams in the dark.

A great number of cricket fans will go to India to watch their preferred team compete in the biggest cricketing event, but many are concerned since the BCCI has not concluded the ticketing process.

It should be remembered that tickets for the T20 World Cup 2022, which will be held in Australia, went on sale six months before the event.

According to sources, the ICC commercial department is unhappy with the BCCI arranging the India vs. New Zealand match at Dharamshala because they believe that a match of such magnitude should not be hosted in a tiny venue since it will not be economically viable.
