No tickets yet, and hotels are sold out as World Cup 2023 excitement spreads throughout India.

India has caught the World Cup 2023 fever with less than three months to go. Fans have already made a significant number of reservations for lodging in the host cities, despite the lack of information regarding the availability of World Cup 2023 tickets.

The WC 2023 Schedule includes games in ten cities, which is great for the hotel industry. This is true even though the hotels have increased their standard rates by more than 20 times for the chosen periods.

The 10 cities where the tournament will be held are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamshala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune. Warm-up games will be held in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati between September 28 and October 3. Numerous reservations have already been made. During the 2023 World Cup, many events are anticipated to be sold out.

Because of the World Cup, the Suba Group of Hotels’ associate vice president Abinash Ashok informed MoneyControl that they expected 100% occupancy during these periods. Under the Click Resorts name, the company operates a chain of inexpensive hotels.

The greatest draw is unsurprisingly the India vs. Pakistan game. Ahmedabad, which has a capacity of more than 100,000, is preparing for its biggest game ever. If India advances, the World Cup final will be played after, but the anticipation for IND vs. PAK is obvious.

“We already have reservations for our Ahmedabad hotel for the India-Pakistan match dates. Additionally, inquiries and reservations have begun for our hotels in Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata. On match days, it is anticipated that the majority of hotels in these locations will be fully booked, according to Kevin Ashley Martis, general manager of sales and marketing (Western India), The Fern Hotels & Resorts.

The demand for hotels is rising, but nothing is being spoken about the World Cup tickets for 2023. State associations have started disclosing the cost of the tickets for the event, but there is no data on sales.

The material is anticipated to be made public by the BCCI and ICC sometime in July. On June 27, the timetable was revealed, although it is still unknown two weeks later.
