Eerlier in the day, Dutch skipper, Edwards, elected to field first after winning the toss against the Black Caps. Their bowling performance has been up-to-the-mark as the Dutch bowlers take wickets with regular intervals and restricted NZ to 322. That’s the main reason NZ couldn’t set an impossible total for the Netherlands.

Vikramjit Singh and Max O’Dowd start the chase of 323 for NED whereas Trent Boult and Matt Henry open the bowling for the Kiwis in the 2nd innings of ICC Worldcup 2023 game against the Dutch.

The onset of the 2nd power play proves costly for the Dutch as the other opener Max O’Dowd is removed by Santner. O’Dowd misses the quicker from Snatner that’s going to click the leg stump.
