Police in Ahmedabad have been urged to make sure that fans do not bring gutka inside Narendra Modi Stadium. During the World Cup match between India and Pakistan, the Ahmedabad Police have a major assignment to do. In addition to handling a sizable audience and security, they also have to make sure that no supporters carry “Gutka” inside the Narendra Modi stadium.

Because it causes a lot of issues during the match, the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) specifically asked Ahmedabad Police to make sure that no spectators marched in wearing pan masala or gutka.

The masala clogs the bathroom line, causing the basin to become wet. In addition, it pollutes the environment, necessitating costly stain removal from GCA.

Following his 99% availability declaration during a press conference, dengue-ridden opener Shubman Gill spent almost one hour batting in the India team nets.

The first player for India tested positive prior to the World Cup starting last week in Chennai, but he recovered quickly after. He was flown to Ahmedabad by the team management, and on Thursday he batted alongside a throwdown expert.

For the first two games, the Indian team attempted Ishan Kishan in Gill’s place. Gill batted for more than an hour after returning to the nets. In addition to facing Mohd Shami and R Ashwin alongside other net bowlers, he faced throwdowns and batted alongside Virat Kohli in the nearby nets.

After taking a break, he continued throwing down. In the event that the team management’s plan is carried out, Gill is likely to play in his maiden World Cup match. During the Indian Premier League, Gill has played for the Gujarat Titans at home in Ahmedabad, where he has produced several outstanding hits.
