Pakistan Squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has been announced

Prior to the ODI World Cup 2023, the Bangladesh Cricket Board employed Sridharan Sriram as a technical consultant once more. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has reappointed Sridharan Sriram as the national cricket team’s technical advisor in an effort to strengthen their preparations for the 2023 ICC World Cup in India. The BCB made this smart choice in order to take advantage of Sriram’s knowledge before the prestigious competition, which is set to begin on October 5.

Sriram has been named as a technical consultant, according to Khaled Mahmud, team director of the Bangladeshi side competing in the upcoming World Cup.

According to Cricbuzz, he stated, “Yes, we have hired him (Sriram) as a technical consultant for the upcoming World Cup.” This choice is a result of the BCB’s continual efforts to improve the performance of its coaching staff.

Sriram has a long history of supporting Bangladesh cricket. He had previously been hired by the BCB as a technical consultant before the T20 World Cup. The board, however, made the decision to create a split coaching structure at this time, giving Russell Domingo the reins for Tests and ODIs. Sadly, Domingo left his position after resigning.

Domingo’s resignation was followed by Chandika Hathurusingha’s appointment as the team’s head coach across all formats, bringing an end to Sriram’s initial involvement with Bangladesh cricket. However, the board’s newfound confidence in him is evidenced by his return as a technical consultant for the ICC World Cup.

Shakib Al Hasan, the all-format captain of Bangladesh, has shown support and love for Sriram, which is one of the key reasons for his reappointment. Shakib regularly supported Sriram during the T20 World Cup, and this backing was crucial to Najmul Hossain’s victory.

In preparation for the ODI World Cup 2023, the Bangladesh Cricket Board rehires Sridharan Sriram as a technical advisor.
